BYC owes its reputation, its location to and its building to many people. Our old promoters, but also today’s members, supporters as well as the many volunteers. With considerable effort, great time committment in conjunction with generous donations, they helped make the club what it is today. History >>
Young people – our future
BYC is the oldest, and with close to 1000 members the largest sailing club in Southern Germany. Founded in 1888, it committed itself to regatta sports as well as to youth sailing programs. BYC promotes the young generation extensively. The youth and junior program’s (JJA) success on international regatta tracks speaks for itself.
